The World's Largest Aquarium

You may have seen aquariums before, but visiting one of the largest in the world makes you feel like you are watching sharks swimming right in the open ocean. The Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta covers over 500,000 square feet and is home to around 100,000 diverse aquatic animals. A special highlight of this aquarium is a pair of 40-foot whale sharks.
Divided into freshwater and saltwater exhibits, the aquarium offers live aquatic viewings as well as educational exhibits on marine life. It also features a theater showing films about marine life, a restaurant that can seat up to 1,100 people, and play areas with rides for children.
