The Clever Dog .

O nce upon a time, in a bustling city, there lived a dog named Tommy. One day he thought to himself, "Why should I stay in this noisy city? Why not head out for a picnic in the jungle instead?"

So Tommy set off for the jungle, eager for adventure. The forest was filled with all sorts of trees and bushes, and everything seemed delightfully lush and green. Wandering in this beautiful atmosphere, Tommy lost track of time-until suddenly, he spotted a lion coming straight towards him. Tommy trembled with fear, but he didn't lose hope.

Quickly, he looked around and noticed a heap of bones nearby. Grabbing a big bone, Tommy turned his back to the approaching lion and exclaimed, "Ah! That was so tasty! If only I could have another lion to eat, that would be even more fun!"

Hearing this, the lion stopped in his tracks, terrified. Watching everything unfold from a tree above was Monti the monkey. Hoping to impress the lion and win his favor, Monti decided to reveal the truth. He climbed down and whispered everything to the lion.

"Monti, hop on my back, and let's go teach that clever dog a lesson," the lion growled.

Tommy overheard this and thought fast again. He called out, "It's already been an hour! Where did that monkey go? I asked him to bring me another lion."

Upon hearing this, the lion lost his temper, tossed Monti from his back, and stormed off-while Tommy, safe and sound, breathed a sigh of relief.
