L ong ago, in the cheerful village of Rainbow Hills, lived a young wizard named Leo. He was kind and clever, but there was one little problem - his magic spells almost never worked the way he wanted them to.
One sunny morning, Leo decided to clean his messy room. He picked up his old magical broom and chanted,
"Broom so bright, clean with delight!"
The broom stood still for a moment. Then, instead of sweeping the floor, it began to dance!
It spun around like a ballerina, twirled across the room, and even whistled a happy tune.
"Hey! You're supposed to clean, not dance!" Leo laughed.
The broom suddenly replied, "Cleaning every day is boring. Today is Dance Day!"
Before Leo could stop it, the broom zoomed out of the house. It danced through the village, making other brooms, mops and dusters dance too.
Soon, buckets were hopping, feather dusters were spinning in circles, and even the village fountain was splashing water to the rhythm.
People came out of their houses, laughing and clapping.
The baker's rolling pin rolled away by itself. The tailor's measuring tape wrapped around a tree like a snake. And the mayor's shiny shoes began tap-dancing right in the middle of the road!
"What is happening?" shouted the mayor, as everyone burst out laughing.
Leo chased the naughty broom all over the village. Finally, he remembered a spell his grandmother had taught him.
He smiled and said,
"Dance is done, fun complete,
Now it's time to gently sweep!"
The broom bowed politely, returned to Leo's hand and quickly swept every street until the whole village sparkled.
The villagers thanked Leo and declared that every year they would celebrate the Dancing Broom Festival, where everyone would dance before cleaning their homes.
From that day on, Leo always checked what mood his magical broom was in before asking it to work!
