The Forgotten God

- As the years passed, the world grew louder and faster. People prayed for success, power, and riches, but something gentle began to disappear.

I n ancient times, every god was remembered. There were gods of rain, wealth, strength, and wisdom. Their temples were always filled, and their names were spoken every day.
But there was one god whom no one prayed to.
He was the god of small acts of goodness.
He did not bring storms or perform miracles. He lived quietly in the moments when someone chose honesty, when a stranger showed kindness, or when help was offered without expecting anything in return.
No one noticed these simple acts.
So no one remembered him.
And slowly, he began to fade away.
As the years passed, the world grew louder and faster. People prayed for success, power, and riches, but something gentle began to disappear.
Kindness became rare.
Patience became difficult.
Doing the right thing began to feel optional.
No one knew why.
Then, one day, a little boy dropped a handful of coins on a crowded street. Many people saw what had happened, but they simply walked past.
Until a young girl stopped.
She picked up the coins and returned them to him without expecting anything in return.
It was a small act.
Almost insignificant.
But it was enough.
Somewhere beyond human sight, the forgotten god stirred.
Then came more such moments.
A helping hand.
A quiet act of forgiveness.
A choice to care.
Each act was small on its own.
But together, they slowly brought the forgotten god back to life- not through temples or prayers, but through the goodness that lived in people's hearts.
Moral
Goodness doesn't have to be grand to make a difference.
It lives on through the small choices we make every single day.
