What Do Trees Do for Us? .

Plants are our main source of food. Large trees provide us with fruits and wood, and many plants are used as medicine. While they are a blessing to mankind, trees do much more for us:
* Oxygen Production: One tree produces about 120 kilograms of oxygen every year.
* Air Purification: Throughout its life, a tree absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to clean the air.
* Soil Protection: Tree roots stop the soil from being washed away by water.
* Nature's Beauty: Trees are true friends to humans. The peace and beauty of a forest exist because of them.
* Rain and Greenery: Large forests attract more rain and keep the Earth green.
* Storm Protection: Trees block the speed of the wind and protect us during storms.
* Fertilizer: When leaves fall and decay into the ground, they make the soil more fertile.
