A businessman from Surat’s New City Light area also lodged a complaint in the crime branch against Singh. He complained of a ₹6.5 lakh fraud, committed by Singh who posed as an ED director and falsely promised him a permit for setting up a wine shop.

Another complaint against Singh was lodged in the crime branch for duping KP Group of ₹2.1 cr.

Singh handed over to crime branch; sent on  remand

Singh was later handed over to crime branch who availed his transfer warrant on Aug 19 in the case of ₹6.5 lakh fraud. 

Crime branch has been granted a two-day remand of the accused to further investigate the case.
