Grumpy Dungliben .
- "Mummy! Look how lovely Pinky's school dress is! And you have made me wear frock over frock over frock…
- so many frocks! I want a school dress too!"

O ne day, little Dungliben (a cute little lady onion!) was grumpy and sulking! She told her mother, "I want to go to school! I need a slate and a pen! I need a small notebook! And I want a cool lunchbox too!"
Her mother said gently, "Let me ask your father first. Then we'll talk about everything."
"Uff..." Dungliben puffed her cheeks and said cutely,
"Hurry up, mummy! Look how beautiful Pinky's school dress is! And you keep putting frock over frock over frock on me. I want a school dress too!"
Her mother softly replied, "Yes dear, but have some patience..."
But Dungliben wasn't ready to wait. She quickly ran to her father.
"Papa! Papa! I want to go to school!"
Papa smiled and said, "Let me ask grandpa first. Then we'll decide."
Oh dear, now Dungliben became even more sulky!
Neither mummy nor papa gave a clear answer. So she rushed straight to grandpa.
"Grandpa! Grandpa! I want to go to school! I want to recite ABCD, learn poems, and write nicely too!"
"Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!" Grandpa picked up the little girl lovingly and said with joy, "Tomorrow itself, we will send my sweet little girl to school!"
"Really, Grandpa?" Dungliben's face lit up with joy.
"Yes, really!" said Grandpa with a smile.
Dungliben spun around happily and sang in delight: "I will carry my slate and pen, Tomorrow to school - yes, yes then! A notebook small tucked in my bag, With dreams to chase and no time to lag.
I'll write ABCD with all my might, Poems and songs, my joy will take flight. Tomorrow to school, my heart will soar, To learn and laugh and dream much more!"
