- "I know, Papa," said Sanu, "but I love cricket. Even if it takes time, I'll be happy chasing my dream."

W hen the 12th-grade results came out, Sanu shouted with joy,
"I passed with 93%! Hurray!"
His father smiled.
"Congratulations, my son. You worked hard. Now, what's next?"
Sanu looked thoughtful.
"Papa, I want to become a cricketer. Cricket is my passion. I've worked so hard for it."
His father looked surprised.
"But you scored 93% in Science! I thought you would become a doctor."
Sanu smiled politely.
"I'm not interested in MBBS. I want to be a famous cricketer. I know it won't be easy, but I'm ready to struggle."
His father was silent for a moment. "You might face many challenges. Cricket is not an easy path."
"I know, Papa," said Sanu, "but I love it. Even if it takes time, I'll be happy chasing my dream."
Finally, his father nodded.
"Alright, my son. If you truly love it, go ahead. Just promise me one thing-don't leave your studies."
"I promise!" said Sanu with a big smile.
A few days later, Sanu took admission in B.Sc. at a college that supported both studies and sports.
Every morning, he practiced cricket. Every afternoon, he went to class.
Soon, he played district-level matches, then state-level tournaments.
His hard work and discipline paid off.
Sanu was living his dream-studying and playing cricket, making his father proud.
