The "IQ" or Intelligence Quotient is a well-known measure of intelligence used in many fields. This test is used to understand a student’s learning capacity, a person’s ability for a job, or the intellectual strength of a specific group of people. The test analyzes intelligence through pictures, riddles, puzzles, general knowledge, vocabulary, and math problems.

While many scientists developed their own methods, the first IQ test was created by Alfred Binet and Theodore Simon, known as the Binet-Simon Intelligence Test. Binet, a psychologist, developed this to check the learning abilities of school children.

About Alfred Binet:

• Birth: Born on July 8, 1857, in Nice, France.

• Early Life: His parents divorced when he was a child, and he was raised by his mother. He was a brilliant student who won prizes in literature and translation.

• Research: After marrying in 1884, he studied his two daughters' behavior deeply, which led to research in child psychology.
