I n a small town, there lived a shopkeeper named Ramesh. He owned a small grocery shop and was known for being hardworking and kind. Every day, many customers came to buy food and other items. One afternoon, a woman came to the shop and bought several things. She was in a hurry and paid quickly before leaving.
After she left, Ramesh counted the money and realized she had accidentally given him more than the actual amount. Ramesh could have easily kept the extra money, but he believed that honesty was more important than profit. So, he closed his shop for a while and went looking for the woman.
After some time, he found her in the nearby market. He politely returned the extra money and explained what had happened. The woman was surprised and very thankful. She praised Ramesh for his honesty and told many people in town about it. Soon, more customers started visiting Ramesh's shop because they trusted him. His business grew, and he proved that honesty always brings respect and success.
