The Full Moon's Promise

- Yadvi Abhishek Prasad

A nya always believed that the Tooth Fairy would come at midnight when the full moon shone bright. She told everyone that when the fairy arrived, rose petals would fall, she would play a sweet tune on her flute, and her tiny shoes would tap softly as she danced in the wind.

But the best part was her magic-whenever a child lost a tooth, the fairy's music made the pain disappear, like a soft and gentle song that carried away their worries.

Her sisters, Mira and Riya, loved how much she believed in this fairy tale. They smiled whenever Anya excitedly explained how the fairy worked her magic, how she left tiny footprints in the dust, and how her flute carried a tune that only lucky children could hear.

One night, when Anya lost her first tooth, she waited eagerly for midnight, looking at the full moon through her window. Her sisters knew how special this moment was for her, so they decided to make her dream come true.

Mira scattered rose petals from the balcony, letting them float down like tiny pink wishes. Riya picked up her flute and played a soft, beautiful melody, just like the one Anya had always imagined. They tiptoed across the garden, making tiny footprints in the dirt, hoping that when Anya woke up, she would see proof that the Tooth Fairy had come.

And when morning arrived, Anya woke up feeling happy and excited. There were rose petals on the ground, a lingering melody in the wind, and soft little footprints just where she had dreamed they would be. She clutched her fallen tooth with joy-just like she had always believed, she felt no pain at all.

But later that evening, Anya overheard her sisters whispering about their plan-how they had made everything happen, just for her. Her heart sank. Had the fairy never been real?

For days, she felt sad, her once-bright excitement fading. But deep down, she refused to stop believing. Magic had to be real.

Then, on the next full moon, something magical happened. As Anya sat quietly in the garden, feeling a little lonely, a soft flute melody floated through the air-but this time, it wasn't her sister playing. It came from the sky itself.

Rose petals drifted down, spinning gently in the moonlight. And then, standing before the glowing full moon, was her Tooth Fairy-small and graceful, dressed in silver, playing the flute with a soft smile.

Her sisters ran outside, staring in shock. Anya, wide-eyed, could only smile. She had always known.

The fairy's music wrapped around them, filling their hearts with peace and wonder. That night, under the full moon, they all sat together in the garden, listening to the fairy's beautiful song. And Anya knew-sometimes, when you believe in something with all your heart, the world finds a way to make it real.
