Ananya's Dream .

- Ananya, now the star batter of her cricket team, led her school to victory at the state level. "No one can stop me now," she beamed.

Ananya was an ambitious Class 11 student who lived in a small Gujarati village, where old traditions still held strong.
One morning, as she sat in class, her teacher announced, "Boys, go to the ground for sports. Girls, head to the home science lab."
The students obeyed, but Ananya hesitated. Her heart raced-why couldn't she play cricket and football too?
With courage, she approached the teacher. "Sir, I want to play with the boys."
The teacher chuckled. "Girls don't play sports. Their place is in the kitchen."
Tears stung her eyes as she walked home, her dreams feeling crushed.
"What's wrong, Anu?" her mother asked gently. Ananya poured out her frustration.
The next day, her mother marched to the school. She confronted the teacher and then the principal.
"Why are girls forbidden from sports?" she demanded. "Do you know how many Indian women are winning medals globally? Shouldn't we be proud of them?"
The principal frowned. "But tradition says-"
"Tradition also once said women shouldn't study," Ananya's mother countered. "Boys should learn cooking too-it's a life skill! Equality isn't just for girls; it helps everyone."
The principal paused, then nodded. "You're right. We'll change this."
Weeks later, the school buzzed with excitement-girls sprinted on the field, boys stirred pots in the kitchen, and laughter filled the air.
Ananya, now the star batter of her cricket team, led her school to victory at the state level. "No one can stop me now," she beamed.
Moral
"Equality sets everyone free. Girls can be athletes, boys can be chefs-and when we break old rules, we all win together."
