Kashmiri militant groups repeated 02 April a threat to attack passengers on a bus service to be launched 07 April across the divided Kashmir region, despite a plea from a hardline separtist group to avoid violence. The threats are not expected to delay the start of the service, which has been suspended for more than 50 years. The bus, which will help reunite families separated in the Himalayan region, is scheduled to operate between Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian Kashmir and Muzaffarabad, the administrative headquarters of the Pakistani zone.
