No plans to quit: Wright

KOLKATA, NOVEMBER 27 (AGENCIES)

Dismissing reports that he intended to quit as "rumours", Indian team coach John Wright on Friday said he would only step down the moment he felt that the team was not achieving anything under him.

"I hope to be going to Bangladesh," Wright said, adding that he discussed the issue of his continuation with outgoing BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya recently

India would be touring the neighbouring nation from December 7 when they play two Tests and three One-Dayers.

"After four years as coach, I feel that it is very important for a team to be moving forward. I want to see the team constantly improving.

"If at any point of time I feel that I am not achieving anything for the team, then someone else can come over and take my place," Wright told newspersons here.
