KGL calls up Antaryami's familyNEW DELHI, AUGUST 17 (AGENCIES) The Kuwaiti company employing three Indians abducted in Iraq on Monday called up the family of Antaryami, one of the hostages, in Himachal Pradesh asking them to "trust" its efforts to secure their release. They also attempted to persuade them to give up their hunger strike. Even as its contact with the abductors remained snapped for the ninth day, Kuwait and Gulf Link (KGL) transport company assured the family members of Antaryami that it was "doing everything" to secure the release of the three drivers held captive by an Iraqi militant group since July 21. "We assured them that we are making all efforts to see the hostages are released safely," KGL spokesperson Rana Abu-Zaineh said.
