CJI in Pak to attend SAARC Law Chief Justices' conference New Delhi, Feb. 19: Chief Justice of India V.N. Khare on Thursday began his three-day visit to Pakistan during which he will attend SAARC Law Chief Justices Conference being held at the port city of Karachi. Justice Khare, who flew in to Amritsar on Wednesday, entered Pakistan by road through Wagah entry point and reached the historical city of Lahore, official sources informed. From Lahore, he would travel to Karachi to attend the conference and meet the Chief Justices of SAARC countries. The Conference would deliberate on the legal developments in various countries and is expected to focus on the challenges posed by terrorism to the justice delivery system, sources said, adding that Justice Khare is likely to hold one-to-one talks with his Pakistani counter-part.
